Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]TFPFN-269-H4 is a mesothelin (MSLN)-targeting radiopharmaceutical developed by Fudan University for the positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of ovarian cancer. It consists of the mesothelin-specific single-domain antibody (nanobody) VHH 269-H4 labeled with the positron emitter fluorine-18 (18F) via the residualizing prosthetic agent 2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl 6-[18F]fluoronicotinate ([18F]TFPFN). In preclinical studies, [18F]TFPFN-269-H4 demonstrated high specificity and affinity for mesothelin-expressing ovarian cancer cells and xenografts, showing rapid renal clearance and clear tumor visualization on microPET/CT imaging.
